By renting a vehicle from Supernova Rides LLC ("Supernova Rides," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
DEFINITIONS
"Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions, the rental confirmation, vehicle inspection records, photographs, videos, telematics records, and any additional materials provided by Supernova Rides.
"Renter," "you," or "your" means the individual renting the vehicle and any approved additional driver. All approved drivers are jointly and severally responsible under this Agreement.
"Authorized Driver" means the renter and any additional driver specifically approved by Supernova Rides.
"Vehicle" means the automobile identified in the rental agreement, including all keys, key fobs, charging adapters, accessories, tires, equipment, and documents provided with the vehicle.
"Loss of Use" means the revenue lost while a vehicle is unavailable for rental due to damage, repair, cleaning, recovery, or other circumstances caused by the renter.
ELIGIBILITY AND AUTHORIZED DRIVERS
All drivers must possess a valid driver's license and meet Supernova Rides eligibility requirements. Only drivers specifically authorized by Supernova Rides may operate the vehicle.
Permitting an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.
VEHICLE CONDITION
The vehicle is provided in safe operating condition and must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was received, excluding normal wear and tear.
The renter shall promptly notify Supernova Rides of any warning lights, mechanical concerns, unusual noises, damage, or service needs.
RETURN OF VEHICLE
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed-upon date, time, and location.
Late returns may result in additional rental charges, loss-of-use charges, administrative fees, towing costs, and recovery expenses.
Supernova Rides reserves the right to recover or repossess the vehicle without prior notice if the vehicle is abandoned, unlawfully retained, obtained through fraud, or used in violation of this Agreement.
ACCIDENTS, DAMAGE, THEFT, AND REPORTING
The renter is responsible for any loss, theft, damage, vandalism, misuse, missing equipment, excessive wear, or diminished value occurring during the rental period, subject to applicable law and insurance coverage.
Any accident, theft, vandalism, mechanical issue, warning light, damage, or incident involving the vehicle must be reported to Supernova Rides within six (6) hours of occurrence or discovery.
Police reports are required for accidents involving another vehicle, injuries, theft, vandalism, or significant property damage.
Failure to timely report an incident may result in additional liability to the extent permitted by law.
INSURANCE
The renter is responsible for maintaining any legally required automobile insurance coverage.
Any protection provided through Supernova Rides or third-party insurers is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the applicable policy.
Violation of this Agreement may void certain protections or coverages.
TOLLS, PARKING, AND TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
The renter is responsible for all tolls, parking charges, traffic citations, camera enforcement violations, towing fees, impound fees, and administrative costs incurred during the rental period.
Supernova Rides may charge the payment method on file for any such amounts.
FUEL AND CHARGING
Gasoline-powered vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup.
Electric vehicles must be returned with a battery charge level within 10% of the level recorded at pickup unless otherwise specified.
Refueling or recharging fees may apply.
SMOKING, VAPING, PETS, CLEANING FEES, AND COMMON CHARGES
Smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or use of tobacco products inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
A smoking or odor remediation fee of $250 will be charged if evidence of smoking, vaping, marijuana use, tobacco use, or lingering odors is found in the vehicle following the rental.
Vehicles must be returned in substantially the same clean condition in which they were received. Excessive dirt, stains, spills, trash, sand, mud, pet hair, or other conditions requiring additional cleaning may result in a cleaning fee of $150.
Pets are permitted only when the renter has selected and paid for any required pet-related add-on offered by Supernova Rides. Unauthorized pets, or pets brought into the vehicle without the required add-on, may result in a cleaning fee of $150, additional damage charges, and any applicable loss-of-use fees.
Service animals protected by applicable law are exempt from pet-related fees; however, renters remain responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Additional charges may include:
• Lost keys, key fobs, charging adapters, parking passes, lockboxes, or access devices: Actual replacement cost
• Refueling or EV charging: Actual cost plus applicable service fees
• Tolls, parking fees, traffic violations, towing charges, impound fees, and administrative costs: Actual cost plus applicable processing fees
• Damage, excessive wear, missing equipment, or policy violations: Actual cost of repair or replacement plus applicable administrative and loss-of-use charges
PROHIBITED USES
The vehicle may not be used:
• By an unauthorized driver
• While under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance
• For any illegal purpose
• For racing, speed contests, drifting, or track events
• For off-road driving
• For towing without written authorization
• For ride-share, delivery, or transportation-for-hire services including Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, or similar platforms
• To transport hazardous, explosive, illegal, or stolen materials
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of the rental and loss of any optional protections.
GPS, TELEMATICS, AND VEHICLE MONITORING
Vehicles may be equipped with GPS, telematics systems, remote immobilization technology, AirTags, vehicle health monitoring systems, or similar technologies.
By renting the vehicle, you consent to the collection and use of location, mileage, fuel level, charging status, vehicle condition, and operational data for fleet management, maintenance, theft recovery, accident investigation, customer support, and enforcement of this Agreement.
VEHICLE CONDITION DOCUMENTATION
Vehicle condition, mileage, fuel level, battery charge level, cleanliness, and equipment inventory may be documented through photographs, videos, telematics records, inspection reports, and timestamped records before and after each rental.
These records may be used to determine responsibility for damage, cleaning charges, missing equipment, mileage overages, policy violations, and other fees.
PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
The renter authorizes Supernova Rides to charge the payment method on file for rental charges, extensions, tolls, citations, damage claims, cleaning fees, administrative fees, loss-of-use charges, and any other amounts owed under this Agreement.
A security deposit or authorization hold may be placed and retained until final inspection and settlement of all charges.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Supernova Rides shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the rental, use, or inability to use the vehicle.

By taking possession of the vehicle, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
